The opportunity: Personal Banker’s are our specialists in retail banking, helping our clients understand where their money is going and what it is doing.

Things like purchasing a home, investing in retirement, or helping their children go to post secondary school.

This means having the chance to truly steer and grow your own portfolio of business.

The day to day Managing and growing an existing book of personal banking, lending & deposits Discovering the financial goals of your clients by asking the right questions and getting to know them as people, not numbers Making sound investment recommendations to your clients based on their investor profile and your sound market knowledge Meeting the unique personal lending needs of Canada’s small-medium sized business owners and their key employees.

The ability to read corporate financial statements and tax returns is an asset Presenting the CWB personal banking package to key prospects/clients as part of a holistic team of Commercial, Personal & Wealth banking colleagues Prioritizing your days with the purpose of growing and maintaining profitable, long lasting, and genuine relationships with CWB clients Creating and working through a business plan to proactively uncover client needs Developing relationships with your internal business partners and taking a team approach to delivering best in class service and products to our clients Exercising and developing your financial knowledgebase
– reading, learning and actively seeking market data, lending strategies, investment activity and much more Spreading positive vibes and contributing to a team environment you’re proud to be a part of Foundational knowledge & experience you will grow with 4 years experience in a banking environment with a strong exposure to lending and investing.

You’ve got some post-secondary education or equivalent experience.

Additional investing or planning accreditation is definitely an asset, but we won’t undervalue your real-life experience.

– you like communicating and connecting with others to provide solutions and build real, lasting relationships You’re able to see the bigger picture.

You are results-oriented, eager to learn and have a real interest in finances and how people spend and use their money You are energized when faced with ambiguity and can adjust your approach

This means balancing the many tasks, demands and challenging priorities that arise in a day with a practiced ease and level head You’re computer savvy
