THE ROLE This position plays an important role providing quality client services to our military members and their families.

We promote and encourage military members to financially plan, not only for themselves but their families as well.

We believe that when members of the Canadian Armed Forces are able to take good care of themselves and their families, they can do better both at home and at work.

You will have the important role of greeting clients and potential clients, ascertain the nature of business and determine their needs.

You will be liaising with clients, advisors and fund companies to facilitate trade requests.

You will need to be a compassionate, empathetic and detail-oriented person who possesses strong listening and oral communication skills to be successful in this role.

Patience, a passion for helping people and being a team player are also essential attributes.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED Education, Certifications and Licenses College diploma or certificate in Office Administration, Business Administration or a related field AND some years of experience in office administration, banking or a related field AND Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada (MFDA) License Experience In providing administrative services in a financial planning, counselling and/or insurance environment In office administration In maintaining filing systems In proofreading In data entry, data manipulation, record-keeping and retrieval techniques In drafting correspondence and reports Competencies, Skills and Abilities Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.

SISIP Financial provides a holistic approach to financial planning, investing, insurance and counselling services to the Canadian military community.

Candidates working towards their (MFDA) licensing will be considered.

This is an on-site position.

The selection process will be done virtually.

SISIP Financial branch operational hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Full time 37.5 hours per week with Federal Statutory Holidays off with pay.

This is a unionized position (PSAC).
