Our Corporate Finance team in Toronto is looking for a professional like you with the skills and drive to make a real difference.

As Senior Vice President, Corporate Finance Debt Advisory, you will report to our senior leadership team and have significant experience in Corporate Finance or a related field and have the aspiration to lead a diverse, high performing team.

What you will do Lead a range of debt advisory mandates concurrently and assume responsibility for the day-to-day execution and delivery of service on projects.

Manage, mentor and train junior corporate finance professionals.

Undertake engagement and practice management responsibilities, including billings and adherence to professional practice requirements.

Lead proactive business development and deal initiation activities.

Review complex financial and valuation models and financing structures.

At times, business needs arise, and employees are required and agree to work beyond their normal workday or work week to fulfill the accountabilities required for their job.

Likewise, employees need time to devote to personal matters, and our approach to flexibility provides for this.

What you bring to the role 8 years of relevant post-graduate experience, acquired in Corporate Finance Debt Advisory, Debt Capital Markets, Commercial/Corporate Banking, Private Debt, Project Finance, or other similar corporate finance roles.

Experience in advising corporations and financial sponsors on debt financing transactions.

Financing capabilities including experience in strategy development, structuring, and arranging senior, subordinated, asset backed, and project financing for corporations and sponsors.

Experience negotiating credit agreements and indentures.

A proven track record or strong interest in business development.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Outstanding analytical and interpretative skills.

Business degree from an accredited university in a relevant field CPA, CBV, MBA and/or CFA designation is an asset but not required.

Must be willing to travel within Canada.
