Pharmacy System Administrator

Reporting to the Automation Systems Manager, the Pharmacy System Administrator will provide primary technical support for pharmacy automation and informatics systems at all hospital sites, including but not limited to Meditech, Swisslog robotics, Omnicell technologies, and Abacus compounding equipment, and will support current and future technology implementation projects for HHS Pharmacy.  Responsible for investigating and resolving technical failures in partnership with internal IT and vendor resources, partnering with IT to ensure system communication across multiple interfaces, maintaining and updating multiple system settings, access and safety parameters, participating in testing procedures for system upgrades and enhancements, communicating system changes to users and administrators, generating reports for quality assurance and auditing purposes, and providing front line educational support to pharmacy staff and other staff as required.  The Pharmacy System Administrator will also participate in various committees internal and external to Pharmacy related to Pharmacy systems, and will facilitate student education as required related to systems.
