Canadian Linen & Uniform Service (CLAUS) provides uniforms and related products to more than 300,000 customers nationwide, in virtually every industry. From designing and manufacturing to laundering and delivering, CLAUS works with local and national clients to create and maintain a total uniform solution that promotes teamwork and establishes a professional identity. CLAUS operates from over 16 locations nationwide.

The Customer Support Specialist will be responsible for coordination and support of the administrative aspects (data entry) of Customer Service and related functions to our branches across Canada

What you’ll do:

  • Field inbound inquiries from branch service management to collaboratively work with all resources in an effort to assist in the timely resolution of all customer service, billing and maintenance issues;
  • Provide new customer set-up and ongoing maintenance of pricing, billing and adjustments
  • Maintains digital customer contract updates and adjustments;
  • Supports the branches by coordinating and ensuring accurate billing are complete for the on time installation of all new accounts and special billing requests;
  • Generates branch invoices, documents and reports as required within the timeframes required for successful completion;
  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

We are looking for individuals who are:

  • Post-secondary education, preferably in a related area of study or equivalent work related experience;
  • 2+ years Customer Service, or Administrative experience preferred in a fast paced environment;
  • Ability to read, understand and interpret documents including but not limited to standard operating procedures;
  • Superior communication skills (both verbal and written);
  • Minimum 40 words per minute typing speed;
  • Proven ability to build effective professional relationships cross-departmentally within a branch or corporate environment;
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work within a fast-paced environment, yet willing and able to work effectively with ambiguous circumstances;
  • Extremely organized in his/her approach to document control and administrative functions;
  • A positive attitude, a desire to learn, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to get work done;
  • Strong ethics, commitment to inclusion and integrity;
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, and Internet).
