Work from home – Technical Support Representative (bilingual) – Nights


This is a Full-time position in Hamilton, ON posted July 28, 2022.

If that’s the case, we have the perfect opportunity for you within the team of Nordia Moncton.

As a Technical Support Representative , you will be the first point of contact for the clients of Canada’s biggest telecommunications company.

On a daily basis, you will assist with the technical problems behind their telecommunications products and services.

You will also answer their questions and suggest solutions adapted to their needs.

Hourly wage of $17.25 effective your start date (including a $2.50 premium per hour worked); Premium available for night and weekend shifts; Performance-based incentive plan; Bilingual premium of $3 per worked hour; Fully-paid training and coaching program; Complete benefits plan after six (6) months of service, including: Comprehensive insurance (medical, dental, and life insurance); Discounts on telecommunications products and services.

– 10pm to 6:30am This position offers the possibility to work from home, but you can also work on-site according to your preference.

Eligibility criteria: Must reside with the hiring location of Waterloo.

Must have a minimum of 25 MBPS high speed internet; Must have a secure space and not be disturbed during your shift.

Responsibilities: Here’s what your day will look like: Answer customer calls to diagnose and perform troubleshooting for telephone, internet, and television services; Provide information or advice to customers on available products, services, and offers; Promote complementary solutions based on the needs and habits discussed with the customer.

Qualifications: High school diploma, DEC in administrative/office technology, or the equivalent; Ability to work in a fast-paced computerized environment; Be fluently bilingual (English and French) with excellent oral and written communication skills; Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; Ease with new technologies, different search engines, and excellent technical understanding of various operating systems such as Windows and Macintosh; Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
