Funded by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, CritiCall Ontario is a 24-hour-a-day emergency consultation and referral service for physicians across the Province of Ontario.
CritiCall links hospitals and medical resources throughout Ontario, to provide strategic healthcare communications solutions anywhere, any time they’re needed.
The BI Developer primary role is to program and implement new BI solutions, reports, or implement changes to the data warehouse model, and designing enterprise-level solutions for medium to large databases.
Additional responsibilities include: debugging, monitoring and troubleshooting BI solutions; creating and deploying reports; writing relational and multidimensional database queries; and creating, deploying and maintaining SQL jobs.
Days 37.5
1. University degree or college diploma in Computer Science or related discipline
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in business intelligence and data warehousing application development in an IT or software development organization, healthcare application experience is preferred
3. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SQL Server 2012, including Reporting Services, Analysis Services and Integration Services
4. Working knowledge of Visual Studio 2010/2012 (C# or VB.NET), ASP.NET
5. Advanced knowledge of relational databases, working experience with multidimensional databases
6. Good understanding of system environment of Windows Server 2003 and IIS, SAN, personal computers and web applications.
7. Demonstrated analytical skills
8. Motivation and commitment to self improvement and learning
9. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and commitment to quality customer service
10. Ability to exercise independent judgment and take action on it, logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail
11. Ability to meet, prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous tasks and deadlines
12. Demonstrated high level of initiative and self-directive and ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
