This is a Contract position in Hamilton, ON posted September 19, 2022.

Union: UNIFOR Service

Location: KW Campus 

Work Type: Temporary Full Time 

Contract End Date: March 30, 2023

Shift: Monday to Friday, Days. 0830-1630 and 11-19 shifts. May include some weekend and evening shifts.

The Clinical Assistant provides clinical care duties as directed by the Registered Nurse. The Clinical Assistant assists in the comfort, mobilization, safety, and cleanliness of the patient. The Clinical Assistant acts in a professional manner, demonstrates caring, and compassionate behaviors while providing care to patients. The clinical assistant also provides assistance in stocking, transportation of patients, etc. Contribute to ensuring there is a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.’ 



  • CPR required
  • Equipment maintenance/operation experience required, ie: wheelchairs, IV poles, stretchers, etc.
  • Health Care Aide or Personal Support Worker designation required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills required
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and ability to prioritize activities and job functions
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision is necessary
  • Good attendance record
