Registered Dietitian

As a member of the health care team, the dietitian is collaboratively responsible for the nutritional management of patients using a family-centered approach. This includes comprehensive assessment of the nutritional status, implementation of the therapeutic diet orders, counselling, and teaching to patients and their families within Pediatric Ambulatory Services. The position with a focus on Comprehensive Pediatric Epilepsy to support complex seizure management through the implementation of classic ketogenic diet, Modified Atkins Diet, Low Glycemic Index therapy and individualized liberalized keto diets in the inpatient and outpatient settings.  In addition this Dietician will support patient care in Peds Ambulatory Services, provide leadership and direction to support staff and learner education related to applied nutrition care.
