As a member of the dynamic multidisciplinary Emergency Department team, the Registered Practical Nurse ensures quality and appropriateness of care for patients of all age groups within the scope of the job description and the Standards of Practice for Registered Practical Nurses of Ontario and in collaboration with the Registered Nurse. The RPN will participate in continued education and completion and maintenance of certifications associated wit the identified nursing skills and complete learning plans to achieve these goals.
