Job Description Reporting to the CEO, provide strategic leadership, create and oversee the retail operations strategy including retail and commercial delivery, wealth and credit department leadership.

As a member of the senior leadership team, contribute to the establishment and direction of strategic priorities for the credit union while being responsible for delivery and credit strategies to support the achievement of established measurements.

Oversee the development and maintenance of a profitable, growing and diversified portfolio of commercial loans, deposits and auxiliary products.

Lead by example with a focus on preserving the healthy overall employee engagement as measured by employee engagement surveys as well as preserving and strengthening member satisfaction scores as measured by member satisfaction data, supporting the development and execution of the credit union’s member focus.

Qualifications A strategic leader who has a proven track record leading initiatives to achieve sales, operational and financial goals for the retail and commercial delivery network, Wealth and Credit departments.

Plans, organizes and directs activities to achieve or exceed goals, operational efficiencies, FTE, establishment of processes and corporate objectives, implementing best practices, maintaining excellent member and vendor relationships, internal team building, margin and revenue growth, risk management, internal and external audit and regulatory functions.

Deliver quality projects and campaigns with the highest levels of member satisfaction.

Proactively coach to support the personal growth and development of direct reports and related teams and implement related training to support the achievement of goals and ensure efficiency and simplicity of processes.

Empowers others to succeed at their roles through clear and consistent direction and by embodying our values of Accountability, Passion, Integrity, Respect and Knowledge.

Acts as an ambassador of PenFinancial by representing the organization at conferences, events and as an active member of the communities we serve demonstrating our Truly Local Commitment and our passion as a certified B Corporation and Living Wage Employer.

Possesses a Degree in Business, Finance or a related field and CFP/PFP.

MBA is an asset.

Has 10 years’ of job-related experience in a leadership role within a credit union or within financial services, including 8 years managing financial products and services sales.

Strong financial and business acumen with proven success collaboratively developing and overseeing the execution of corporate strategy.

Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills with proven success communicating with peers, direct reports and employees at all levels.
