Working on a core technology for Darwin, you will have the opportunity to have a major impact on the design and implementation of Apple’s operating systems.

Key Qualifications Deep understanding of the C programming language Previous experience with UNIX kernel engineering Genuine passion for kernel technology and systems engineering Programming in ARM assembly Understanding of modern CPU design Extensive knowledge of hardware platforms & processor architectures Low level debugging experience Demonstrated creative, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills Highly professional, with the ability to deliver solid work on tight schedules Excellent collaborative skills including written and verbal communication Description
– Work with a highly skilled engineering team in the design and implementation of kernel technologies
– Drive product features and specifications on Apple’s product line
– Bring up, verification, and debug of new hardware platforms
– Work with cross-functional teams to support product requirements Education & Experience BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience/skills Additional Requirements Experience with multiple hardware architectures (Intel x86, ARM, MIPS, PPC)
