To apply, please forward your resume and cover letter by Jul 08, 2022 The Royal Canadian Mint is hiring a Senior Information Technology Analyst (Business Analyst) who can thrive in a dynamic and inclusive environment.

Reporting to the Manager, Business Analysis, the Senior Information Technology Analyst is responsible for serving as the primary support contact for business systems users/business team members to elicit, analyze, specify and validate the business needs of stakeholders.

This includes interviewing stakeholders, gathering, and documenting user requirements to contribute in the solution design, testing and deployment of the solution.

The Senior IT Analyst also applies proven communication, analytical and problem solving skills to help support the development process to ensure that the project deliverables are met according to specifications.

Requirements Key Responsibilities: Interview stakeholders to gather and document user requirements to contribute in the solution design, testing, and deployment of the solution.

Support the development process to ensure that the project deliverables are met according to specifications.

Work closely with the Business Project SME’s to ensure the business priorities are represented within IT Plans for immediate projects as well as for long term IT Roadmap Planning.

As part of the project team, work with the QA team to ensure that the Testing Strategy incorporates the scope of the project and is in line with all requirements.

Will be responsible for multiple large-scale projects while participating in the IT Business Analysis community of practice.

Working closely with the Business Analysis Manager, collaborate, maintain and enhance the IT BA practice, which includes, but is not limited to, mentoring the IT Analysts and educating them on proper business analysis skills and techniques as needed in support of their projects.

Will be responsible for writing test plans, translating requirements to test scripts, executing test scripts, and communicating results.

Author and review project documentation including business requirements, functional specifications, test plans, system workflow diagrams, business cases, and test scripts.

Play a key role in ensuring IT understands the business requirements and priorities Requirements: Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma in Information Technology, Business, or other related areas or equivalent experience Minimum of seven (7) year’s experience as a Business Analyst encompassing all aspects of BA practices, including but not limited to requirements gathering techniques, documenting requirements, understanding and using requirements artifacts, and process and workflow documentation Certification(s) or Certificate(s) in Business Analysis from recognized institutions (CBAP, CCBA, AAC, PMI, CFLBA, PBA, Corporate Training College, etc.

Extensive hands-on and functional experience with an ERP is required (Microsoft Dynamics AX/Dynamics 365 is preferred) Experience and understanding in financial planning and financial budget forecasting solutions Experience and understanding of Business Analysis requirements artifacts and modeling languages Experience and understanding of writing test plans, translating requirements to test scripts, executing test scripts, and communicating results Must be able to demonstrate experience and proficiency in authoring and reviewing project documentation including; business requirements, functional specifications, test plans, system workflow diagrams, business cases, and test scripts Experience working in an agile project methodology environment Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset The health and safety of our employees is a top priority.
