Job Title Operator 3, Bakery-Sanitation Department Sanitation Reporting to Supervisor, Bakery-Sanitation Position Purpose To ensure that job duties that affect the safety, legality and quality standards are addressed.

Key Accountabilities Complete all daily and weekly assigned tasks as indicated in the sanitation schedule and according to SSOP’s The ability to communicate effectively, organize effectively, with varying degrees of independence, judgment, and discretion Responsibilities Complete all daily and weekly assigned tasks as indicated in the sanitation schedule and according to SSOP’s Complete all assigned tasks specific to the weekly production line clean down Utilize cleaning equipment in a safe and responsible manner, reporting any damaged or unsafe equipment to team leader, supervisor or manager Complete extra duties as assigned in preparation for plant tours etc.

Maintain current and accurate records of completed tasks in a neat and orderly manner Report any impediments or safety concerns to the Supervisor or Manager Coordinate with the other sanitation operators to ensure that the whole team completes all their tasks Adhering to all health and safety requirements as trained Maintain the required hygiene, safety and quality standards on the production floor Other duties as required Skills, Experience & Qualifications Must have strong mechanical aptitude Likes to assume variety of responsibilities in team based production environment Excellent communication skills Proven communication skills both Written and Verbal (English) Ability to follow instructions and work independently Reliable, punctual, energetic and conscientious Able to work in a fast pace environment Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a solid team environment Ability to work rotating continental shift schedule
– 2 weeks days and 2 weeks night (7-7) Schedule subject to change under managements discretion Education, Technical Qualifications, Experience and Competencies Proficiency Level Required High School Diploma / G.E.D Clear criminal background check (or has received a pardon) Preferred Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to equipment Previous experience in a cleaning role would be an asset Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
