Rock Truck Operator Location: Fort MacKay, AB, Canada Job ID: R6587 Job Status: Full-Time Share: Apply Now Description Job Summary: You are an experienced Rock Truck Operator with experience in early heavy civil construction projects.

You will be an integral part of the Ledcor team working on facility installation, pipeline corridor construction, pipeline excavation and backfill, piling installation, MSE wall construction and ramp & road construction projects.

Join the Ledcor team today Essential Responsibilities: Operates all functions of the rock truck, including staging, hauling and dumping procedures Conducts pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections and completes daily Field Level Hazard Assessments, logs and reports any maintenance concerns with the equipment Operate rock truck safely and efficiently to meet production targets Coordinates truck activities with the excavator and other truck operators Complete production reporting and other documentation as required Ensures the safety of the crew, equipment, and environment Ensures that work is completed during regular hours Qualifications: Previous experience operating 40-ton articulated rock trucks in an industrial civil construction setting Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract Successful candidates will require CSTS 2020, CSO or BSO, Confined Space tickets Work Conditions 14/7 schedule working 10-12 hours per day Site based camp provided Charter Flights from either Edmonton or Calgary, or travel allowance provided for those that qualify Benefits provided by CLAC Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions Additional Information: Company Description Ledcor builds and maintains infrastructure in various industries including oil and gas, transportation, and mining.
