This is a Contract position in Hamilton, ON posted July 16, 2021.

This Cisco Solution Consultant will provide technical leadership and sales support to our key customers to help them achieve their goals.

The CSC must combine sales ability and consultative skills with technical expertise to drive new sales opportunities in our customers’ technology environments.

This is a hybrid role combining customer relationships, technical expertise and working with our sales teams and others to help customers realize their business outcomes and realize the benefits of the solutions they implement.

This role requires the ability to work in a team environment and to collaborate on the development of innovative, tailored solutions for clients and prospects.

Within your CompuCom region, you are viewed as a “go to” technical generalist resource and you are engaged whenever an opportunity requires your area of expertise.

This position is expected to participate in client and prospect meetings as technical sales support and must be able to communicate with both technical and business audiences from systems administrator to CIO.

You will work on identifying opportunities and defining solutions that include both core and edge compute along with any associated services.

You must know how to gather the client data required to effectively tailor a solution.

You must have the experience to understand the various ways a solution may be delivered and can anticipate what will work best for a given client.

By combining your technical expertise with your business acumen you will provide vital, detailed information about how CompuCom’s solutions deliver business value to our clients.

Build our Cisco Canadian business to meet quarterly objectives -Take a leadership role with our key customer technical teams to drive value in CompuCom solutions and services -Align our solutions and services with our customers’ business outcomes -Sell the value of CompuCom-Cisco service offerings in our market -Maintain customer relationships over time to continue to deliver advice to the client and identify additional opportunities -Understand market requirements, client needs and industry trends to share with customers -Support Sales with customer engagements and presentations -Drive Cisco cross-architecture capabilities within CompuCom sales and operation teams -Establish quarterly Cisco technology updates to key customers -Initiate health check activities for existing customer investments -Solution the optimal combination of hardware, software, and services to meet the customers’ needs -Develop proposals and bill of materials for complex solutions of hardware, software, and services -Play a key role in the development of the bid and proposal process, and presenting the solution to the prospect
