The Job
– Director of Product As the head of the Product Division you will be accountable for the success of the day-to-day operations as well as developing and leading future facing initiatives.

You will design preseason plans across the Product Divisions departments to align with our brand vision and market opportunities.

You will alsocommunicate the product direction and work cross departmentally to ensure that the vision is delivered to our customers end-to-end.You will actively be taking part intop level decisions that will determine the direction of the brand.

Lead the Inventory Planning, Control, Product Development and Merchandising functions of the Product Division Expand, Elevate, Refine and Package our offering to our customers Optimizeour business processes tomaximizetop and bottom line performance Be forward thinking in our position in the industry Drive an overall vision of the product lifecycle by leading the team to react to sales trends, market impacts, and inventory Maximize business opportunities and monitor sell-through situations to initiate appropriate strategies and tactics to liquidate stock and increase sales Provide strategic directionand guidance to the teams to plan and execute buying activities across the region to achieve targeted sales projections and sell-through Work closely with the VP of Finance and Creative Director to formulate and implement all the seasonal buying strategies and Open-to-Buy (OTB) budget to achieve the business objectives for the markets Prepare and present in budget, forecast, and monthly business reviews with Senior Management Liaise closely with Retail team to provide feedback from markets and make recommendations on product style, mix and purchase Work on pricing policy and positioning based on competitor analyses to increase brand profitability Oversee inventory, delivery, and reordering situations to ensure appropriate levels of stock are maintained across all categories Regularly report to the VP of Finance and CEO, delivering analysis and feedback on sales performance, merchandise mix, inventory situations and other key business issues, etc.

Partner with Retail, Marketing and Visual Merchandising teams on promotional and visual presentation programs Supervise and review team performance, KPIs setting, and support ongoing career development Qualifications We are looking for someone that has a strong vision to elevate and refine our product mix offering for our customers Able to plan, communicate and execute their vision Extremely organized and can ensure that projects are prioritized, planned and seen through to completion Able to develop staff internally and successfully delegate and oversee projects Results oriented and able to track and communicate projects from start to finish Uncompromising standards and a desire to create something unrivaled A commitment to learn and apply TLS’s Business and Culture principles Proven skills and experience within buying, planning, product development and the desire to continually innovate Produce results that add value and drive the businesses top line and bottom line impacts A sense of urgency executing job responsibilities, prioritizing urgent and important work Actively suggest new or modified business opportunity and practices to propel the company forward Bring expertise and passion for the fashion industry An understanding of TLS’s brand, aesthetic and style fundamentals and is actively participating in trends and cultural influences A desire to conceptualize, develop, and execute new ideas, designs, and products that will elevate TLS’s brand Advanced report building, analysis and excel skills 10 years working within Merchandising with 4 of those years at a senior manger level Strong utilization of project management skills and meeting deadlines
