The Director of Talent Acquisition will lead the talent acquisition and employer branding team.  They will develop best in class and innovative talent sourcing solutions in order to attract top talent.  The right person will have demonstrated experience scaling high tech companies.   
This is a hands-on leadership role which requires both strategic and tactical capability in a high growth scale up.  The right candidate will be able to develop strong relationships across all levels of the organization, influence talent decisions, drive continuous improvement in the recruitment lifecycle and deliver impact through fast action and decision making.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of talent acquisition professionals to scale the business is a rapidly growing organization.
  • Provide hands on leadership to team through coaching, development, continuous improvement, technology and guidance.   
  • Own and manage all Director level hires.
  • Create and implement a world class experience for candidates and hiring managers.
  • Institute metrics, reporting and analytics to measure talent acquisition performance and identify opportunities for improvement.  
  • Partner with functional leaders to identify future talent needs; create a proactive method to capture future needs.  Provide expert advice to hiring managers to set expectations.  
  • Develop robust recruitment channels including social media, employee ambassadors, talent community building, and agencies. 
  • Create strategic alliances with universities, colleges, boot camps to create access to talentLead employer branding efforts; partner with external subject experts to create an attractive employer brand proposition 
  • Grow the Q4 brand externally through public speaking and involvement in the tech community. 
  • Optimize recruitment tech stack (Lever) to drive improvement in time to fill, candidate quality, cost per hire, etc.  
  • Champion Diversity & Inclusion to promote initiatives that are in support of a more diverse organization; participate on the D&I committee 

Key Experience Needed

  • Demonstrated experience scaling high growth companies; passionate about working in a fast pace business
  • Proven expertise in leading team and developing culture (min of 3 years of people leadership experience needed)
  • Deep knowledge of tech recruitment and industry; ability to apply various sourcing techniques to help build the talent funnel
  • Very analytical and numbers driven; ability to leverage data to inform decisions
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Ability to partner at all levels, and deliver value to key executives
