The General Manager has an integral role in driving community engagement through the Flagship store, we are seeking a motivated leader who is passionate about taking the store to the next level and proving a winning business model for expansion.

A General Manager to help drive an unparalleled customer experience and lead and motivate a passionate, outgoing, and positive team across the optical, retail, and café operations.

General Manager responsibilities: As the retail business owner, the successful candidate is responsible for the management and activities of all aspects of the store operations.

Major responsibly include leading and executing the strategic vision of Retail location(s).

Other dues include hiring, developing, managing, motivating, and training managers and team.

Other key areas of focus include driving community relationships and establishing a hub for the community to gather, connect, collaborate, enjoy, and feel welcome.

The successful candidate will: Provide leadership to the business unit, overseeing retail activities and stores Review and analyzes sales and operational records and reports; uses data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and to identify new markets Collaborate with store leads and managers to develop sales goals for each location, monitors progress towards goals, and develops strategies to attract and retain customers Develops marketing programs and promotions to increase sales and introduce new products and services Identifies opportunities for improvement in the store region; designs and implements training, strategies, policies, goals, and other resources to maximize productivity and morale Schedules and directs regular sales meetings and events to share information, set revised goals Collaborates with executive leadership to develop territories, sales quotas, and strategies Prepares and implements budget; monitors and approves expenses Maintains knowledge of market, competition, and best practices and trends in sales techniques and strategies Engage community leader and local businesses to collaborate on community outreach Ensure seamless operation and integrated culture between Optical and Food/Beverage The successful candidate will have: World class program management skills Strategic and critical thinker, the ability to build a framework for scaling the retail strategy Excellent organizational and time management skills Prior experience with inventory management and reporting Excellent organizational and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven problem-solving skills Resourceful self starter Compensation and benefits: The discussed salary range is $75, 000-$85, 000 depending on experience Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered Comprehensive benefits package Annual bonus potential 3 weeks vacation Only candidates already eligible to work in Canada will be reviewed.
