The Manager oversees the product on-boarding processand strategytoseamlessly enrich online article information, enhancedecision support for customersand SEO,drivingsales at the lowest possible end-to-end process cost.

TheManager, Digital Product Contentwill lead a team responsible for diverse elements of digital content, building high-performing relationships with cross-functional peers and content co-owners to ensure sitecontentdeliverstothe needs of the business and produces a best-in-class customer experienceon time and within budget.

WHAT YOU’LL DO: Create, define, oversee and support all processes from content acquisition to content management and publication/syndication for product data Build strong, high trust relationships with cross functional partners to improve Digital Product Content processes from onboarding to copywriting, to site conversion and customer satisfaction Stay up-to-date on competitive landscape and best practices for customer-centric article information and presentation Maintain a high level of strategic foresight by identifying customer and business needs, and adjusting departmental and team objectives accordingly Collaborate with cross-functional partners to address and continuously improve the customer experience across Indigo.ca Manage the day-to-day activities of the Digital Content team Find, document and define solutions to product information issues Assess rich content publication provided by third-party content aggregators Cleanse and normalize new product information Ensure the execution of team deliverables and adapt priorities based on changing needs Manage the product studio ensuring all necessary content is delivered on time, on budget and aligned with style guide Ensure the completion of team deliverables and set/adhere to team budgets, as applicable Act as an advocate for the customer by placing them at the forefront of all design and decision-making processes Proactively identify and anticipate customer expectations and needs Embrace and seek out technology that creates high tech and high touch solutions for Indigo’s customers Challenge the status quo and consistently identify areas for improvement, diagnose issues and working to resolve them Build strong teams by attracting and developing the best talent Bring out the best in others, empower and constructively stretch talent Give authentic feedback on performance and potential Ensure all team members understand where they stand and have clear performance objectives aligned with Indigo and team goals Collaborate with others to drive flexible and iterative solutions, quickly and easily Share technical knowledge with others and actively seek to learn from those more knowledgeable than yourself Help others see the impacts of their efforts and proactively engage other functions to get input Encourage others to freely share their point of view and be open to feedback Accountable for the overall engagement, productivity, turnover and bench strength of the team Model Indigo’s beliefs and convey a positive image in everything you do Celebrate diversity of thought and have an open mindset Take an active role in fostering a culture of continual learning, taking risks without the fear of making mistakes Embrace, champion and influence change through your team and/or the organization Qualifications WHO YOU ARE: University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business or a related degree program 5 years of progressive retail experience (preferably eCommerce) with minimum 3 years people management accountability Understanding of site design principles, taxonomy, browse path, item page enrichment along with site analytics and SEO High level of attention to detail, ability to multi-task and manage priorities and deadlines Demonstrated ability to build and foster strong, collaborative relationships Creative problem-solver Excellent communication and presentation skills Additional Information At Indigo, we are committed to our communities, our customers, and each other; together we can make a positive impact.
