The M a n a g e r , I n f o r m a t i on M a n a g ementreports to the C h i ef C orpor a t e S e r v i ces O ff i c e randpro v i d e s oversight and direction r e l ated t o the implementation and application of the Federal Bridge Corporation Limited’s (FBCL) I n f or m a t i on M a n a g eme n t Framework.

T he M a n a g e r , I n f o r m a t i on M a n a g emente n sur e s a p propri a t e po li c i es, procedures, and the continued adoption of high quality records and document management standards across the Corporation, involving strict adherence to legislative requirements and document lifecycle management protocols .

The M a n a g e r , I n f o r m a t i on M a n a g ement l e a ds t h e administration of the Corporation i n f o r m ati o n assets and m a n a g e m e n t s y s t e m s (ie: GCDocs) while assuring diligent management of its content.

Duties and Responsibilities Information Management (70%) C onfigure, administrator and develop i n f o r m ati o n m a n a g e m e n ts y s t e m s; A u t on o m o u sly m an a g e the F BC L a r c h i v e s, i n c l ud i ng t h e de v e l o p m e nt an d implement po li c i e s a ndp r o ced u r e s; Conform and comply i n f o r m a t i o n m a n a g e m e n t practices with app li cab l e l e g i s l a t i on a nd industry best practices ; D es i g n ando v ersee i n f o r m ati o n m a n a g e m e n t pr o cess e ss u ch as c l ass i f i c ati o n, workflows, d i g i t i z ati o n, r ete n t i on a n d d i sp o sition; Promote innovation and guide change; D e v e l op a n d de l i v er i n f o r m ati o n m a n a g e m e n t t r a i n i ng t o endus e r s; Recommend to Senior Management business improvement practices and policy development; Leadand prepare FBCL for the evolution from paper-based records to digital recordsto achieve administrative efficiencies; Interactand direct IT resources in support of IM priorities; R ep r e s e nt F B C L i n m a t t e r sof i n f or m a t i o n m a n a g e m e n t w i t h subs i d i a r i e s , co u n t e r p ar t sat m a t t e r sof i n f or m a t i o n m a n a g e m e n t w i t h subs i d i a r i e s , co u n t e r p ar t sat L i b r a r y an d A r ch i v e s C a nad a ( L A C ) an d o t h er e x t e r na l s t a k eho l d e r s.
